Join the Tokyo Yarn Crawl!
October 29, 2019
Tokyo Yarn Crawl has been held in Tokyo for the past few years. This year, our Tokyo store will participate in this event.
TYarn Crawl is a stamp rally around the participating shops, and you can get gifts, limited kits and workshops only for that period.
For more details, please click here.
The period is from 11/16 (Sat) to 11/30 (Sat). The following events are currently scheduled.
・An original project bag will be presented to those who shop during the period. This will end as soon as it is gone.
・Spincycle Yarns Fair Spincycle is very popular all over the world. The online shop always sells out like the wind, but this time we will send all the threads to the Tokyo store for this event!
At the same time, we will exhibit samples using Spincycle, sell kits, and prepare limited kits for this time of year.

About the "writing patterns" course
July 04, 2019
This is Tokuko. I'm sure you all have some concerns about starting a new course, so I'd like to answer them in the form of questions first!
・Where should I start? If you have never written a sentence pattern before, please start with the beginner's edition.
For those who have written even once, this is for beginners. If you want to know the size development of the wear, please start from the intermediate level.
・Will I be able to write patterns after reading this? To write a pattern, you first need a design. If you can do that, I think anyone can write patterns.
・Isn't it difficult to expand the size?
If you can use Excel, it's honestly not that hard to deploy. I think it's more difficult to write a pattern with size expansion in mind. I will tell you in detail, including here and there.
That's what it feels like.
I think the best thing about being able to write patterns is that people can knit their own designs. It makes me happier than I thought.
If you can speak English, the world will spread further. Don't worry, even if you can't speak English, as long as you deliver the sentence pattern, amirisu also has a service to translate it into English .
Once you become famous on Ravelry and Instagram, you will start receiving calls from overseas magazines, yarn shops, and manufacturers. Everyone is really looking at it, so you should be able to find it soon!
Also, if you are running a classroom, you can make your own design into a pattern and use it as a workshop to attract customers. Relying on other people's designs can be quite difficult. That's the immediate solution.
In fact, you can knit a lot of patterns anyway, and the more experience you have, the better you will be able to write patterns, but I will teach you that experience first.
If you aspire to be a designer, please give it a try.

A day in Kamakura
May 11, 2019
5 years ago when I decided to move to Kyoto. Actually, I wasn't sure whether to go to Kamakura or Kyoto. I made a lot of friends, and some people recommended me to move here.
In the end, I think it was really good that I chose Kyoto. A land pattern with many textile manufacturers, a place where handmade has taken root.
But I want to meet my friends in Kamakura, and I really like the place where I can spend a relaxing time. So I decided to make an excuse to go out. Let's do an event!
The venue is the "Machi no Employee Cafeteria" operated by the fun company KAYAC, which started a business in Kamakura and recently returned to Kamakura. A friend of mine was involved in its launch, so I was able to lend it to him during his free time on the weekend. The president, Mr. Yanagisawa, is also a person I respect very much, and I feel happy that I was able to connect with him.
Now what shall we do? My friend nao, who works at the Tokyo store, lives near Kamakura, so I planned a full day of workshops and knit cafes.

Nao and I have been talking for some time about wanting to hold a weaving workshop using a wire frame. It can be used as a basket, but of course it can also be used as a lampshade (originally a lampshade). A hand woven lampshade is wonderful. If you want to change the pattern, just reweave it. I wonder if it can also be a handy yarn ball.
Of course, you can also learn the basics of weaving. She used her wisdom to select materials so that even a beginner could make something cute. Would you like to increase the pop interior?
WS includes lunch. To my surprise, my friend Mami-san, who is a chef, showed her skill. She is a lady who runs catering and private dining, which is a little famous in Kamakura. I was also treated several times. I'm excited to be able to make lunch this time.
The last is a knit cafe. This is the same as the usual amirisu knit cafe, where everyone chats and knits together. After spending half a day in Kamakura, please come and have a tea break.
It's going to be a day like that. If possible, I would like to do it regularly, about once every two months. Please come and visit us for this first project.
